dear A,

i think my heart really died yesterday.
for the first time in my life, i slapped a girl.
not once, but many times.
i don't know what it is that got me so angry.
perhaps, because the girl standing in front of me had changed.
changed into someone, none of us had seen before.
but i guess it's partly my fault too.
for 18 months, i gave in to her, i pampered her, i spoilt her.
i created someone who has no qualms about hurting another.
she called me a loser.
but darling do you really think it's you saying you don't love me that hurts me the most?
or that you've found someone new?
no. if you ever thought so, you still don't understand me.
what hurts the most, was you being such a disappointment.
i loved you, as a lover, and even more so as a best friend.
it took me so many months, to finally break into that gentle and thoughtful side of yours.
i don't know where it went wrong.
but, i promise you, i'll be there till the end for you still.
